Misty Broderick
Vice President
Misty Broderick is the Vice President and head of Deakins-Carroll’s commercial insurance department. She received her undergraduate degree in marketing from the University of Florida and later pursued her law degree at Stetson University College of Law where she met her husband Mark.
Having grown up in the agency, Misty saw the pride her parents had in running their business and the joy they found in the cherished relationships they developed with their customers, while also appreciating the interesting challenges that the Florida’s insurance market presented. In 2000, she decided to change course from the law to her family’s insurance agency with a focus on commercial insurance.
Two kids, two dogs and twenty-five years later, she still enjoys the chance to meet new people, learn about their businesses and work with them to address their insurance needs. Our clients, she says, aren't just policy numbers, but people whose well-being we’ve been tasked to protect, and our group takes that responsibility seriously.
